A 1930's folding chair provided by The Woman's Club of Palo Alto was transformed for their March 2014 benefit:

This benefit supported both the Woman's Club and the Pacific Art League, two local organizations historically dedicated to the betterment of the community and the beauty of Palo Alto. This piece illustrates the concept of the chair as a place to let creativity sprout and grow. I incorporated the brass shade of a reading lamp (also from the 1930's) and vines embellished with Swarovski crystal.
